Carolina de Deus proceeded to open the Festas in Honor of Our Lady of Conceição, which are taking place in Alandroal. The ceremony marked the beginning of the festivities, which started this Thursday.

The president of the Municipality of Alandroal, João Grilo, was present at the event and stated that the objective of the festivities is to once again become a meeting point for both the local population and for those who visit the municipality.

According to the mayor, the festivities intend to contribute to an increase in demand for the restaurant and accommodation services of the municipality, thus strengthening the local economy during the celebration period.
