Amid the crisis involving the Supreme Federal Court, opposition and government base parliamentarians wage a war of petitions in the Court and also in other bodies. On today, both sides presented new requests related to investigations involving the crisis related to Banco Master.
The opposition presented a petition in the Supreme Federal Court requesting that the Court analyze the possible bias of Minister Alexandre de Moraes in decisions made by him. Among them is the conviction of former President Jair Bolsonaro in the action about the attempted coup d'état.
The request was presented by Bolsonaro-aligned deputy Zé Trovão, from PL of Santa Catarina, after revelations of dialogues between Moraes and Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master. The parliamentarian requests that decisions by Moraes that have produced effect on individual liberty, political rights, property, exercise of public functions or other fundamental legal positions be reviewed.
