The ICL Notícias portal revealed an audio in which Federal Deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) asks Daniel Vorcaro, founder of Banco Master, to help an ally in a negotiation involving a mining asset. The audio was sent to the banker on March 30, 2025.
The request was made on behalf of lawyer Thiago Rodrigues de Faria, former aide to the parliamentarian's office. Nikolas introduced Faria as a friend, lawyer, and person of his total trust in the recording revealed by the portal.
Hours after the disclosure, Nikolas posted a video mocking the coverage and announcing an official statement for noon that Thursday. In the video, the parliamentarian appears cutting his own hair and states he intends to look "gorgeous," in reference to how he addressed Vorcaro in the revealed messages.
The deputy states he will republish a statement at 12 p.m. and ends the video with a kiss to the camera, without providing further details about the content of the negotiation involving the mining asset.
