The Social Security Institute, represented by the District Director of Social Security for Aveiro, José Licínio Pimenta, signed in Estarreja the lease agreement for a space in the city center to house the new Local Service Point of Social Security. The Municipality of Estarreja supported the formalization of this agreement.
The new space, approximately 226 square meters and owned by a real estate company, will now undergo adaptation works to ensure more adequate conditions for the operation of the service and for the in-person service of beneficiaries, taxpayers, and other citizens.
The local authority of Estarreja considers this an important step for improving service conditions for the population and for strengthening the presence of public services in the municipality.
The installation of the new Local Service Point is part of the reorganization process of the Social Security Institute, which aims to improve the quality of service, modernize the relationship with citizens and businesses, and increase the effectiveness of local services.
