Police force unions announced they are considering returning to the streets in protest, after declaring they feel "ashamed" by the statements made by the Minister of Internal Administration during a PSP ceremony. The negotiating rounds that were taking place regarding officers' working conditions were completely suspended, which led the unions to move forward with threats of new protests. Police representatives criticize the lack of progress in the negotiations and accuse the executive of not addressing their demands.
The Ministry of Internal Administration, on the other hand, guarantees that dialogue with the police forces remains open and denies that there is a blockade in the negotiations.
