The Municipal Executive of Vieira do Minho met yesterday with the presidents of the Parish Councils of the municipality in a session that took place at the headquarters of the Parish Council of Pinheiro. The meeting allowed for a status update on ongoing works, municipal interventions and the main needs identified in the territory.
During the meeting, the mayor of the Municipal Council, Filipe de Oliveira, presented the various works that are currently underway in the municipality. Among the highlighted interventions, the placement of safety guards, also called rails, on various roads in the territory was mentioned, a work that will continue to cover the different parishes.
The reinforcement in the acquisition of bituminous mixtures was also highlighted, which allows for a more effective response to the needs of maintenance and repair of the municipal road network. This measure aims to improve the conditions of the municipality's roads.
The various municipal works in progress were discussed during the meeting, and the programming of the next investments planned for the municipality of Vieira do Minho was also presented.
