The leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Feijóo, called for the resignation of the president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, during a speech about the migration crisis in Ceuta. Feijóo stated that Sánchez will have to answer to justice for how he handled the situation.
The conflict centers on the invasion of Ceuta by approximately 80 thousand illegal immigrants. Feijóo claims that Sánchez allowed this massive entry of people, considering this decision serious enough to warrant judicial accountability of the president of the government.
Alberto Feijóo is the main leader of the Spanish opposition, while Pedro Sánchez holds the position of president of the government of Spain. This confrontation arises in the context of a significant migration crisis at the Spanish borders, specifically in the autonomous city of Ceuta, located in North Africa.
