Albuquerque appeals for votes for Monte Palace in the '7 Wonders'

The President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, visited Monte Palace Madeira Garden today and expressed support for the space's candidacy to the New 7 Wonders of Portugal 2026, in the Tourism category. During the visit, Albuquerque appealed for citizens' participation in the voting for this distinction.

The Madeiran executive chief highlighted the garden's beauty and botanical diversity, considering Monte Palace "one of the most pleasant and most beautiful places on the island". The politician particularly emphasized the variety of plant species present in the space as one of its main attributes.

The candidacy of Monte Palace Garden to the New 7 Wonders of Portugal 2026 voting falls under the Tourism category, representing an effort to promote the natural heritage of the island of Madeira at the national level.

Estarreja: Social Security with New Facilities for Local Service
