Eleven municipalities located in the districts of Guarda, Santarém, Portalegre and Faro are at maximum rural fire danger. This high-risk situation places these regions under special alert for fires.
The temperatures forecast for today reach extreme values, with thermometers reaching 43 degrees in the districts of Setúbal and Évora. The intense heat contributes to the worsening of fire risk conditions in these areas of the country.
The maximum rural fire danger thus covers a vast area that includes municipalities from four different districts, requiring special vigilance from authorities and the population.
