Valença City Hall holds competition with 100 vacancies for teachers

The Valença City Hall published a public contest notice for the Education area, offering 100 vacancies for teachers. The contest covers different levels and specialties, with 70 vacancies for Teacher III and 30 vacancies distributed among various areas of Teacher IV, including Art, Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Religious Education, Geography, History, English Language, Portuguese Language and Mathematics.

Interested parties can register until 11pm on October 5th. Registration fees are R$ 66 for high school level positions and R$ 68 for higher education level positions. Requests for fee exemption can be submitted until September 2nd.

Candidates will be evaluated through an objective test, scheduled for November 22nd. The exam will include questions on Basic Knowledge and other areas of knowledge, as specified in the complete notice.

Spanish banks are watching people who use 500 euro notes, not because they are illegal, but because operations with these high denomination notes may raise suspicions regarding money laundering prevention. According to newspaper AS, there are reporting obligations for cash transactions equal to or greater than 3,000 euros, as well as for loans exceeding 6,000 euros. Anyone entering or leaving Spain with more than 10,000 euros must also make a declaration. Although 500 euro notes remain legal tender and can be exchanged at central banks, financial entities may request customers to justify the origin of the money if they consider the operation suspicious, and may report cases to the competent authorities.
