Viseu: Temperature to rise and leave the district under yellow warning

The district of Viseu will be on Thursday, September 3rd, under yellow warning due to the forecast of high temperatures. The warning is issued by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).

The yellow warning will be in effect between 10:00 on Thursday and 06:00 on Friday morning, covering a period of twenty hours.

The forecast indicates that maximum temperatures will rise significantly in the district of Viseu, justifying the issuance of the meteorological warning.

This type of yellow warning represents a moderate risk situation, alerting the population to conditions that require special attention, namely the need for protection against the heat.
