The Municipal Services of Viana do Castelo collected 70 tons of waste in the city during the nine days of the Romaria d'Agonia, which took place between the 15th and 23rd. The cleaning operation involved 34 workers, totaling 2,300 hours of work.
To carry out this operation, the SMVC mobilized five waste transport vehicles and three mechanical sweepers. The support infrastructure included the installation of more than 100 waste disposal points, namely 17 containers, 60 bag holders, and 29 recycling points.
