Tehran warns it will use "military response" if US increases naval blockade
The speaker of the parliament and leader of Iran's representatives in the indirect peace talks with the United States threatened today with "a military response" if American forces intensify the naval blockade on Iranian ports. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made this statement in a video released by Iranian media, in which he called on Iranians to exercise restraint in fuel consumption. The Iranian leader stated categorically that, if the blockade is intensified, Iran will respond without doubt with military measures.
