According to the cited analysis, the main target of this American pressure is not directly Iran, but rather China, which is considered Iran's largest economic partner.
The USA indicated that they consider this G20 meeting important to debate the world economy, although the initial posture is described as a threat that contributes to the increase of international economic instability.
