The Setúbal Fashion Show held its fourth edition with the theme "Connections and Future", bringing together around half a hundred models from two dozen European and African countries. The event, founded and with creative direction by Aires Muscate, provided a moment of celebration of emerging talent and creativity, featuring the Young Designers Award to recognize developing designers.
In addition to the fashion competition, the event included a varied program of cultural activities over three days, from Friday to Sunday. The program featured musical performances by Nayana Santos at the opening, The BMCI Project and DJ Adimwa at the closing, as well as workshops, castings, photo shoots and guided tours of the city's tourist spots.
The event had the support of the Setúbal City Council, among other partnerships and sponsorships, and used different locations and strategic points in the city as settings for the participants. The program also included the delivery of diplomas to participants.
The Setúbal Fashion Show constitutes itself as a platform dedicated to fashion, creativity and contemporary Afro-Lusophone expression, bringing together emerging designers, content creators, artists and community.
