The Bairrada Wine Museum, located in the municipality of Anadia, launched this month the "Open Sundays at the Museum" initiative, a monthly program that offers free admission to residents of the Anadia council on the last Sunday of each month.
The Anadia municipality explained that the program aims to strengthen the relationship between the Museum and the local population, promote regular cultural habits, enhance wine heritage as an identity element, and create visiting opportunities for families and audiences who cannot come during the week.
In addition to visiting the exhibitions, visitors can participate in thematic workshops related to art and wine, integrated into Dina Lopes' artistic project "Traveling between Light and Color". The Creative Workshops also return on Saturdays, from 10:00 to 13:00, aimed at children aged 6 to 12, dedicated to the artistic, scientific, and cultural exploration of the universe of the vineyard and wine.
The September session is scheduled for the 26th, celebrating the Museum's anniversary with the theme "Happy Birthday, Museum! The history that lives in us", where participants are invited to learn about and explore the history and memories that are part of the institution's identity. Registration is free, subject to prior booking.
