The South Korean group Stray Kids, main attraction this Friday at Rock in Rio, has stood out not only for K-pop but also for their environmental initiatives. The eight members — Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N — regularly participate in the Love Earth Challenge, a campaign created in 2020 by JYP Entertainment focused on sustainable actions. In these actions, the idols call upon their fans to adopt eco-friendly practices, such as reducing waste production.
Student Isadora Vitória decided to be inspired by the idols' example and produce her own clothing for today's show. She reused over 300 can lids to create the piece she will wear at the festival. The young woman shared that she had been collecting the lids for three years, initially with the goal of making a craft piece.
The idea for the craft project arose because Isadora's mother is a teacher and taught her how to do this type of手工 work. When the Stray Kids show at Rock in Rio was announced, she decided to adapt the project and transform the lids into an outfit to wear at the event, thus combining her passion for the idols with the sustainable practices promoted by the group.
