A PAM Saint-Gobain Brasil marked its presence at IRRIGACANA 2026, held on September 9 and 10 at Multiplan Hall, in Ribeirão Preto (SP). The event is nationally recognized as one of the main references in sugarcane irrigation and fertigation in the Brazilian sugarcane energy sector.

The seminar brought together producers, mills, researchers, and suppliers to discuss technologies, innovation, and practices aimed at increasing productivity and sustainability of sugarcane fields. During the two days of programming, participants attended technical panels with sector specialists.

The company was represented with its own booth, where it received visitors, clients, and partners to present its product portfolio and solutions aimed at the challenges of the sugarcane energy sector. The commercial and technical team was available to demonstrate product applications, share knowledge, and exchange experiences with the professionals present at the event.

Sines received 95% of gas imported by Portugal in 2025

About 95% of natural gas imported by Portugal in 2025 arrived through the Sines terminal, with Nigeria (50%), the United States (43%) and Russia (7%) as the main countries of origin, according to a report by ERSE. Forty-six LNG carrier unloadings were carried out at the terminal, seven fewer than in 2024, and 7,546 tankers were supplied.
