ExpoMora 2026 opened this Friday, September 11, with around 80 exhibitors installed in the event pavilions. The organization hoped to attract visitors from neighboring municipalities in the Mora region.

The president of the Municipality of Mora, Luís Simão, considered that the event will have positive repercussions on the restaurant sector and tourist facilities in the municipality, contributing to the economic revitalization of the region.

The mayor highlighted the importance of the event for the local community, taking into account the economic impact that the event can generate for local businesses.

Infraestruturas de Portugal awarded a contract of 8.972 million euros for the repair of road damage in the southern area of the district of Aveiro, caused by the bad weather at the beginning of the year.
