The locality of São Martinho, in the municipality of Seia, is celebrating the traditional Festival of Santa Eufémia, whose 2026 edition runs from September 6 to 16. The festivities include a combination of musical entertainment, religious events and community traditions.
This weekend's program includes popular dances and nighttime entertainment. On Friday, September 11, the group Caravela Musical entertained the dance at 10:30 PM, followed by DJ Meireles at 1:00 AM. On Saturday, September 12, Grupo Kalyente takes the stage at 10:30 PM, preceding the performance of DJ Campos.
Sunday, September 13, is considered the central day of the festivities. The morning begins at 9:00 AM with the arrival of the musical group Novo Milénio, followed by the Solemn Mass at 10:30 AM. In the afternoon, the traditional Procession takes place at 3:30 PM and the auctioning of fogaças at 4:30 PM, ending the night with the dance of Ricky Música and Entertainment at 9:00 PM.
The celebrations continue on September 14 and 16, both with Solemn Mass at 10:00 AM, traditional games, auctioning of fogaças and continuity of community festivities.
