Lagoa City Hall promotes walking event

The City Hall of Lagoa, in the Azores archipelago, is promoting an initiative that invites participants to explore the geographical boundaries of the municipality. The activity takes place between October 17 and 31 and then between November 7 and 14, covering a period of approximately one month.

This is already the second edition of the initiative called "Along the geographical boundaries of the municipality", which seeks to map and walk the borders of the Lagoa territory as rigorously as possible.

The city council thus intends to introduce participants to the complete geography of the municipality of Lagoa, encouraging the exploration of its physical and natural boundaries. The initiative arises within the context of a trend of valorizing territories and their borders through walks and trails.
