Another "closure" on the IP3. Classic!

Notícias de Coimbra11 September 2026 at 16:59

Another "closure" on the IP3 was announced, generating comments that this is a recurring situation. The project in question is the IP3 duplication works, linking Coimbra to Viseu.

The intervention specifically refers to the section between Santa Comba Dão and Viseu. The entity responsible for carrying out this work is Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP).

The article suggests that this new closure joins a series of previous reductions on the same project, being described as a classic pattern. The IP3 duplication project is considered an important work for improving the road connections between the two cities.
