Enrique Lores, CEO of PayPal, stated that the company's future will lean more towards being a digital bank than a payments company. Lores, a businessman from Valencia, took the reins of the company on March 1st.

The new CEO expressed confidence in recovering the brand's prestige and transforming the multinational into something more than a simple payment method. This is the main objective of his tenure leading the company.

According to Lores, the necessary transformation involves better understanding what customers want. The businessman stated: "And they want many more things than a simple payment method," underscoring that consumers are looking for more comprehensive services than those currently offered.
