Académico de Viseu has loaned player Tomás Silva to Covilhã. The young footballer, aged 22, thus leaves the Viseu club to play for the team from the district of Castelo Branco during the current season.
Tomás Silva arrived at Académico de Viseu in 2020, coming from another club. The player initially joined the youth teams of the Viseu club before making the jump to the first team.
The transition to the first team occurred in the 2022/2023 season, when the young defender began to have regular involvement with the team that competes in the professional divisions of Portuguese football. This temporary loan comes as a way to allow the player to gain more playing time and competitive experience.
