The Brazilian striker Richarlison is not among the 25 players registered by Tottenham for the Premier League this season, which means he is barred from playing any matches in the English competition until he is registered.
The situation leaves the player out of the club's immediate plans, as Premier League rules require teams to register a list of no more than 25 players, and only players under 21 years old can play outside this list.
Tottenham's coach, Roberto De Zerbi, commented on the case and made it clear that the decision not to include Richarlison on the list did not come from him, distancing himself from the choice made by the club.
The Brazilian, who arrived at Tottenham in 2022 from Everton, has faced physical problems and below-expected performance in recent months, which may have influenced the decision by the London club's management.
