Cyclist Diogo Graça, athlete from the club Bombos S. Sebastião, based in Darque, will represent the National Team at the XCM World Championship (Marathon MTB), taking place this weekend in Italy. This call-up represents the culmination of a lot of work and dedication throughout his sports career.
The club expressed enormous pride in the athlete's call-up, noting that it reflects his talent and commitment, elevating the sports project to the highest international level. The Portuguese delegation in the Elite category also includes cyclists Guilherme Mota, José Dias and Melissa Maia.
Diogo Graça is also known by the nickname "Bullman," a nickname directly associated with his aggressive and fighting riding style on the tracks. The athlete has already achieved podium places in the Elite men's category at the National XCM Championship, demonstrating his competitiveness at the highest national level.
Before dedicating himself fully to cycling, Diogo Graça had a background in Motocross and Supercross, which may explain his characteristic physical posture and riding style in MTB events.
