Princess Astrid of Norway died this Friday at the age of 94, according to an official statement from the Norwegian royal palace.
Astrid's death occurred just two days after the funeral of her brother, King Harald V of Norway, who passed away on March 29 at the age of 87.
The princess was the older sister of the late monarch, having turned 94 years of age at the time of her death.
The royal palace issued a statement to inform about the event, which marks the second mourning in just a few days for the Norwegian royal family.
