Six people were rescued this Friday, September 11, after a vessel shipwrecked off Sesimbra. The victims were found in the water after the vessel sank.
The maritime and Civil Protection authorities were alerted to the incident and launched a rescue operation to save the people who were in the water.
One person remains missing after the shipwreck, with search efforts continuing to locate the individual who has yet to be found.
The accident occurred off the coast of Sesimbra, a Portuguese coastal area known for intense fishing and nautical activity.
