Nine districts in the center and south of mainland Portugal will be under yellow warning during the weekend due to heat. The districts covered are Évora, Santarém, Setúbal, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Castelo Branco, Coimbra and Portalegre.

The yellow warning comes into effect at 10 am on Saturday and remains in place until 5 pm on Sunday. This type of warning indicates a risk situation for certain activities dependent on weather conditions.

The warning covers the entire weekend period, covering both Saturday and Sunday. The adverse weather situation is due to the intense heat forecast for these regions of Portuguese territory.

Nine districts in central and southern mainland Portugal, including Évora, Santarém, Setúbal, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, and Portalegre, will be under yellow warning on Saturday and Sunday due to heat, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA). The warning, for "persistence of high values of maximum temperature," is in effect between 10:00 on Saturday and 17:00 on Sunday. On Sunday, Braga, Aveiro, Viana do Castelo, and Porto will also be under yellow warning during the same period. The yellow warning is the least severe on a three-level scale and is issued when there is a risk for activities dependent on the meteorological situation.
