Samara Felipko, who recently reported episodes of racism suffered by her daughters at a school presented as a progressive institution, will host the first episode of "Revelando," a new series of minidocumentaries. The theme of the premiere will be eugenics in Brazil and its different historical manifestations since the abolition of slavery. The project premieres next Tuesday (15) on the @revelando_br channel on YouTube.
The initiative is from the Calma Urgente team, led by Alessandra Orofino, in partnership with a collective of communication professionals. There will be five minidocs shown on YouTube on topics of public interest. Each episode will be hosted by a different personality.
The other episodes will address topics such as domestic work, privatization of beaches, scams involving Pix and the PCC, and Lagoinha Church. The series aims to reveal different aspects of Brazilian reality through these social issues.
