Flamengo Fan Demands R$ 15 Thousand from Club After Being Barred from Maracanã

Municipal guard Leonardo Mele, a Flamengo fan club member, is pursuing legal action against Clube de Regatas do Flamengo demanding R$ 15 thousand after being prevented from entering the Maracanã. He had traveled approximately 180 km from Arraial do Cabo to Rio de Janeiro to attend the match.

The Special Adjunct Civil Court of the District of Arraial do Cabo scheduled a conciliation hearing between the parties for September 14, 2026, at 11 AM. Mele almost missed the game in which Flamengo defeated Independiente Medellín 4-1, in the second round of the Copa Libertadores group stage.
