A fire devastates 42 migrant shacks in Tarajal, Ceuta

A fire destroyed 42 migrant shacks in the Tarajal area, in Ceuta. The fire started shortly before midnight at the front part of a warehouse in the Tarajal Industrial Park, where thousands of migrants who had illegally entered Ceuta on July 30 and 31 remain to spend the night.

According to sources from the Fire Service cited by EFE, it was the local residents themselves who alerted the emergency services about the fire.

Firefighters arrived at the scene, along with units of the National Police, Local Police and Armed Forces, due to the magnitude of the flames.
