Justice Alexandre de Moraes, from the Supreme Federal Court, authorized visits from more relatives to former President Jair Bolsonaro, who is serving house arrest after being convicted for an attempted coup d'état. The defense made the request so that former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro, who is running for Senate for the Federal District, would have more free time to fulfill her campaign schedule.

Before the authorization, Bolsonaro could only be visited by his wife and sons Carlos and Renato Bolsonaro. With the decision, Renato Bolsonaro, the former president's brother, sisters-in-law Geovanna Kathleen and Suyane Lanuze Lima, and also parents-in-law Vicente de Paulo Reinaldo and Maisa Torres Antunes became authorized.

Visits will last two hours and must occur on days and at times established by the prison system, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, in the morning or afternoon, from 8am to 10am, from 11am to 1pm, and also from 2pm to 4pm.
