A 37-year-old man was arrested in Ponte de Lima on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrest was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Unit of Arcos de Valdevez, as part of an investigation that had been ongoing for approximately one month.
Four search warrants were executed, one at a residence and three in vehicles. The operation resulted in the seizure of two air pressure rifles, 257 doses of marijuana and 22 vacuum packaging bags.
The suspect was made a defendant and the facts were reported to the Judicial Court of Ponte de Lima. The GNR was the security force responsible for the operation.
