Metro do Porto weekend service cuts

Observador10 September 2026 at 16:04

Metro do Porto will suspend train service between the Campo 24 de Agosto and Senhora da Hora stations this weekend. The service interruption is scheduled to begin at 22:00 on Saturday and continue until 12:00 on Sunday.

This temporary suspension affects the line connecting these two important stations in the northern area of the city of Porto. During the period when the metro is not running, passengers will not be able to use this section of the network.

The stations affected by the interruption will remain open to the public, meaning passengers will be able to access the stations, but will not be able to travel by metro on this specific route.

To compensate for the service suspension, a replacement route via buses will be made available. This measure aims to ensure that passengers are able to travel between the two stations during the metro service interruption period.
