The Judicial Police is investigating the death of a 43-year-old man, allegedly following a stabbing that occurred this Thursday inside a house in the municipality of Olhão, in the Algarve. A second man, aged 50, was left in serious condition due to assaults at the same location.

The Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle team went to the scene but was unable to resuscitate the fatal victim, whose death was declared at the location.

The Faro District Command of the PSP refused to provide details about the incident, explaining that the case was handed over to the PJ because it involved a bladed weapon. A PJ source confirmed that it has taken over the investigation, referring further information to a later time.
