The Public Security Police seized 69 cannabis plants from a plantation located in the municipality of Calheta, in the Azores. The police intervention took place on Friday and was carried out by the Calheta Police Station, belonging to the Angra do Heroísmo Police Division of the Azores Regional Command.
The seized plants varied in size, with heights ranging from 60 centimeters to 2.47 meters. The operation was reported through an official statement by the PSP, where details of the seizure were disclosed.
The case occurred in the context of the autonomous region of the Azores, more specifically on the island of Terceira, where the municipality of Calheta is located. To date, no further information has been released regarding any arrests or suspects related to the plantation.
