In the municipality of Almeirim, there are reports from several people who claim to have observed wild boars on the Old Paços road, between Almeirim and Fazendas de Almeirim.
The sightings are reported to have occurred at different times, increasing the attention of those who travel on that road, especially during nighttime hours. The presence of these animals in areas near the roads may represent a significant risk for drivers, as wild boars can suddenly cross the roadway.
