The kindergarten owner in Amadora found a three-year-old baby abandoned by her mother. The woman heard the child's constant crying and decided to intervene. According to the account given to CMTV, when she rescued the child she was still able to see the mother at the scene.
The child's mother was subsequently taken to hospital. According to information gathered by CMTV, the woman was showing symptoms of hallucinations at the time she was found.
Authorities were called to the scene to intervene in the situation. The child was removed from the mother's care following the incident at the kindergarten in the Amadora area.
