Federal deputy Mario Frias (PL-SP) and producer Karina Gama are targets of a Federal Police operation launched on Thursday. Agents executed 49 search and seizure warrants, ordered by Justice Flavio Dino of the Supreme Court (STF), to investigate the financing of the film "Dark Horse", a biopic of former President Jair Bolsonaro. The investigation targets alleged misuse of parliamentary amendments to fund the production.

Mario Frias, an actor known for his participation in the soap opera "Malhação" and with little experience in cinema, actively participated in Jair Bolsonaro's government. He took on the task of writing the screenplay for the film "Dark Horse", which is at the center of a controversy involving banker Daniel Vorcaro. The operation occurs amid an unprecedented crisis among members of the Court.
