The president of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, expressed confidence that the budgetary process will proceed with responsibility on the part of all political forces. The official stated that he is certain that the sense of responsibility will prevail both from the Government and from the opposition.
The Budget in question will be the first to be approved after the conclusion of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), which gives particular relevance to this document. This circumstance marks a new phase in regional financial management.
Bolieiro explicitly appealed for collaboration between the executive and the opposition parties in the approval of this Budget, highlighting the importance of a responsible negotiating process by all participants.
