UNIVERSITY OF ÉVORA MOVES FORWARD UNTIL MARCH 2027 WITH NEW PROPOSAL FOR MEDICINE

The University of Évora intends to submit a new proposal for the creation of an Integrated Master's in Medicine by March 2027. The rector of the institution, António Candeias, announced this intention, presenting a new project for the Alentejo academy.

This is not the university's first attempt. The Medicine course has already been rejected twice before, making this a third proposal for the implementation of the integrated master's at the Évora institution.

The University of Évora thus maintains its ambition to offer Medicine training, seeking to meet a growing demand for places in this field in Portugal. The new application will be formalized within the deadline set by the rector.

The Intermunicipal Community of Baixo Alentejo (CIMBAL) and APPJuventude formalized a partnership to strengthen youth participation in public decisions, integrated into the CRJ+ initiative funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme.
