Support for Visual Arts reaches 74 projects and leaves 60 out due to lack of funds

The General Directorate for the Arts (DGArtes) announced that it will support 74 projects under the Visual Arts Projects Support program, with total funding of approximately 1.9 million euros.

However, 60 projects were left out of the support, not because they did not meet the requirements, but simply due to lack of available funds to finance all eligible candidates.

This program is specifically aimed at projects in the field of visual arts, covering various artistic manifestations such as painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and other forms of contemporary visual expression.

The significant number of rejected projects highlights the budget limitations faced by DGArtes in supporting all valid applications received for this program.
