The footwear brand Rockport is reinforcing its presence in Portugal with an expansion plan that foresees the opening of seven stores in total. The first store opened in Almada, representing the relaunch of the brand in the country, where 60% of the offering is 100% national production.
The expansion plan includes six more stores, two of which are expected to open by the end of the year, one of them in Lisbon. An opening in the city of Porto is also planned for 2027, reinforcing the brand's growth strategy in the Portuguese market.
With this investment, Rockport anticipates sales of around 1.2 million euros during the current year, demonstrating the brand's positive expectations for the Portuguese market. The company is betting on national production as one of the pillars of its offering.
