Changan presented the PHEV version of the Deepal S05, called Ultra-Hybrid, which joins the fully electric versions already available for this model. The new vehicle combines a combustion engine with an electric motor, offering a plug-in hybrid solution to consumers.
With 258 horsepower, the Deepal S05 Ultra-Hybrid can travel up to 1,060 kilometers of range in combined mode, with 100 kilometers possible using only the charged battery. This range positions the model as a competitive option in the plug-in hybrid SUV segment.
The starting price is one of the strengths of this version, costing only 33,990 euros. This price makes the vehicle relatively affordable compared to other PHEVs on the market, representing an aggressive pricing strategy by Changan.
The sale of the Deepal S05 Ultra-Hybrid has already begun, allowing buyers to purchase the model immediately through the brand's dealership network.
