Marius Borg Høiby, the eldest son of Norway's Queen Mette-Marit, attended King Harald V's funeral wearing an electronic ankle monitor, as he serves house arrest while awaiting the outcome of his appeal against his four-year prison sentence for two cases of rape and abuse against an ex-girlfriend. At 29, Borg was tried for approximately thirty serious crimes and found guilty of most of them. Arrested in February for violating a restraining order, he currently lives at Skaugum Palace under electronic monitoring until October, as the court considers the risk of reoffending to be high.
