A race and walk took place in Seixal with the aim of demanding the construction of a hospital in the municipality. The event brought together participants who wanted to show their support for this long-standing cause.

The construction of a health facility in Seixal is a demand that has been ongoing for more than two decades. The inhabitants of the municipality have been fighting for this hospital infrastructure for over 20 years.

In 2009, a protocol was signed between the State and the Seixal City Council for the construction of the hospital. At the time, its inauguration was predicted for 2012, a goal that never materialized.

Walk for Peace and Creation takes place on October 4th in Câmara de Lobos
