The Dr. Ângelo Augusto da Silva Basic and Secondary School opens its doors for another school year with a renewed image, brighter and better insulated. The institution accommodates 1,036 students and benefited from renovation works that had been awaited for a decade.
The interventions carried out covered the main building structure and extended to the school gymnasium. The total investment in the works amounted to seven million euros in public funds.
However, the sports courts area was left unfinished. According to the available information, these works are expected to proceed next year.
