Feiras Novas start today in Ponte de Lima with a special edition that celebrates the 200 years of this festival, one of the most emblematic in Minho. The Minho town will transform itself until Sunday, September 14, into a large stage of popular celebration, bringing together tradition, music, culture and thousands of visitors.
One of the most awaited moments of the program takes place on Saturday, September 12, at 00:30, with the traditional fireworks show that will light up the sky and the historic center of Ponte de Lima. This moment promises to bring together thousands of people once again to witness one of the highlights of Feiras Novas.
The commemorative edition of the 200 years aims to reinforce the importance of this centuries-old festival, keeping alive cultural manifestations and traditions that span generations.
