The Feiras Novas 2026 kick off today, Wednesday, September 9th, in Ponte de Lima, and will run until next September 14th. This is a special edition celebrating the 200th anniversary of this traditional festival.
For six days, the historic center of Ponte de Lima transforms into a large festive stage, hosting concerts, folklore shows, street entertainment, and religious moments. The program combines tradition, music, popular culture, and devotion.
The event is one of the most important in the festive calendar of Minho and this year gains particular relevance by marking two decades of history of the Feiras Novas, consolidating its position as a cultural reference of the region.
